History

Church built in the 12th century, modified subsequently until the 15th century, fortified during the Hundred Years War. It was built above a natural cave which may have been used as a crypt. Plan in the form of a cross. A first bay under the bell tower is covered by a cupola on pendentives. The nave is covered by three bays of rib vaults of the 13th century. At the crossing of the transept, round Romanesque columns set against pilasters. The flat chevet bears flamboyant ornaments of the 15th century. The square bell tower rises two storeys above the façade. The second storey of each face is pierced with two three-lobed windows in pointed arch. On the south side, a square turret containing the spiral staircase of the bell tower. Cross-shaped loophole. The bases of the walls have not been modified since the Romanesque period.
