L'église primitive devait se composer de deux travées sans collatéraux et d'un choeur. Elle devait être couverte d'une simple charpente apparente. Modifications au 12e siècle. A cet édifice a été ajoutée une travée portant clocher et couverte, sous celui-ci, d'une coupole octogonale sur trompe. Terminant l'église à l'est, le choeur rectangulaire est couvert d'une voûte angevine du 13e siècle. A la suite du mur de la nef vient une tourelle d'escalier montant au clocher.

History
The primitive church was to consist of two bays without aisles and a choir. It was to be covered with simple exposed roof structure. Modifications in the 12th century. To this building was added a bay carrying a bell tower and covered, beneath it, with an octagonal dome on squinch. Terminating the church to the east, the rectangular choir is covered with an Angevin vault from the 13th century. Following the nave wall comes a staircase turret rising to the bell tower.
