Ancien moulin à blé et à huile du 16e siècle, le moulin de Fleurac, a été presque entièrement reconstruit à la fin du 19e siècle. Son architecture est en Charente assez commune : belles pierres de taille, baies en plein cintre à létage. Abandonné pendant plusieurs décennies, il a été transformé en moulin à papier en 1978 par M. Lacombe, descendant dune famille de papetiers depuis quatre générations. Confrontée à des difficultés financières, cette tentative a été relayée par une association « Les amis de la tradition papetière dAngoumois et des provinces voisines » qui a relancé lactivité de ce moulin, où lon fabrique du papier à la cuve à partir de lin et de coton selon les techniques du 18e siècle.

History
Former flour and oil mill of the 16th century, the mill of Fleurac, was almost entirely rebuilt in the late 19th century. Its architecture is fairly common in Charente: fine cut stone, round arch openings on the storey. Abandoned for several decades, it was transformed into a paper mill in 1978 by M. Lacombe, descendant of a family of papermakers for four generations. Faced with financial difficulties, this attempt was succeeded by an association "Friends of the papermaking tradition of Angoumois and neighbouring provinces" which revived the activity of this mill, where paper is made by hand from linen and cotton according to 18th-century techniques.
