Parmi les sept fondations que l'ordre limousin de Grandmont a faites en Charente, deux ont conservé leur église entière : Rozet et Etricor. L'église de Rozet correspond au plan type des églises grandmontaines : nef unique, abside semi-circulaire plus large que la nef et percée de trois baies en plein cintre. Au sud, dans le mur de la nef, s'ouvrait la porte des moines donnant sur le cloître. Au nord, plus orné avec deux voussures retombant sur des colonnettes jumelées, le portail permettait l'accès aux fidèles non membres de la communauté monastique. Dans le choeur, autre particularité grandmontaine, une piscine à double bassin fait face au placard eucharistique, grande niche en plein cintre. Cette église témoigne de l'évolution de l'architecture grandmontaine vers plus d'élévation et un plus grand souci du décor à partir de la fin du 12e et au 13e siècle.

History
Among the seven foundations that the Limousin order of Grandmont made in Charente, two have preserved their entire church: Rozet and Etricor. The church of Rozet corresponds to the typical plan of Grandmontine churches: single nave, semi-circular apse wider than the nave and pierced with three round-arch openings. To the south, in the wall of the nave, opened the door of the monks giving onto the cloister. To the north, more ornate with two voussures resting on paired colonnettes, the portal allowed access to the faithful not members of the monastic community. In the choir, another Grandmontine particularity, a piscine with double basin faces the eucharistic cupboard, a large round-arch niche. This church bears witness to the evolution of Grandmontine architecture towards greater elevation and greater concern for decoration from the end of the 12th and into the 13th century.
