Eglise de style roman, consacrée en 1164. La mention la plus ancienne remonte à 981, avec un diplôme de Lothaire confirmant la donation de cet alleu à l'abbaye bénédictine de Saint-Génis-des-Fontaines qui le conserva jusqu'à la Révolution, période à laquelle il fut vendu comme bien national. L'église est sensiblement orientée, à nef unique et choeur semi-circulaire légèrement plus étroit que la nef. Le mur pignon occidental est chargé d'un clocher-arcade composé de trois piliers rectangulaires. Les deux arcades, probablement plein cintre, ont disparu. La porte s'ouvre sur la façade sud. Elle se compose d'un linteau en batière, d'un tympan en demi-lune et d'une voussure à trois rouleaux correspondants aux ressauts des piédroits. Le chevet est orné d'un rang d'arcatures lombardes sur modillons, d'un rang de dents d'engrenage et d'une corniche à gorge. Près du chevet, la toiture conserve quelques vestiges d'un ancien mur-clocher. A l'intérieur, la nef est couverte d'un berceau continu légèrement brisé. Les trois premières assises de la voûte sont en granit appareillé tandis que le reste est, apparemment, en schiste. Deux banquettes superposées courent le long des murs gouttereaux et du mur de fond. Le choeur est couvert d'un cul de four.

History
Church of Roman style, consecrated in 1164. The oldest mention dates back to 981, with a diploma of Lothair confirming the donation of this allodium to the Benedictine abbey of Saint-Génis-des-Fontaines which retained it until the Revolution, a period during which it was sold as national property. The church is substantially oriented, with a single nave and semi-circular choir slightly narrower than the nave. The western gable wall is charged with a porch tower composed of three rectangular pillars. The two arcades, probably round arch, have disappeared. The door opens onto the south facade. It consists of a sloping lintel, a semi-circular tympanum and a voussure with three rolls corresponding to the offsets of the jambs. The chevet is adorned with a row of Lombard arcatures on modillons, a row of cog-teeth and a gorged cornice. Near the chevet, the roofing preserves some vestiges of an old wall bell tower. Inside, the nave is covered by a slightly broken barrel vault. The first three courses of the vault are in dressed granite while the rest is, apparently, in schist. Two superimposed benches run along the side walls and the end wall. The choir is covered with a hemispherical vault.
