History

Built on a square plan, the belfry tower appears to date, at least in its base storey, from the earliest years of the foundation of the town (11th century). It consists of large ashlars with irregular courses. The entrance door is framed by three enormous monolithic blocks. The interior, vaulted with a barrel vault, was converted into a public laundry.
