Historique
L'édifice conserve des vestiges du 11e siècle et fut construit du temps des abbés de Joucou. La nef unique est séparée du sanctuaire par un arc. L'ensemble est entièrement voûté d'un berceau brisé. Il n'existe qu'une seule chapelle latérale, voûtée d'un berceau transversal, au nord du chevet. Une sacristie moderne a été bâtie au sud. Le mur de fond est surmonté par un clocher-mur très élevé, à deux baies campanaires juxtaposées. A partir du fond de la nef, le mur méridional comporte un décor d'arcatures formant deux tableaux décrochés par rapport au nu du mur. Le premier de ces panneaux comporte six petits arcs et le second cinq. En continuant vers l'est, le mur se retourne, ce qui paraît correspondre à l'ancien choeur. Il y avait là probablement, soit un choeur, soit un chevet plat moins élevé que la nef. Du côté nord, le mur semble avoir été entièrement reconstruit et consolidé par des contreforts, la nef ayant été refaite à cette occasion, cette campagne pouvant se situer à la même époque que la réfection de la porte, en 1744.

History
The edifice retains vestiges of the 11th century and was constructed in the time of the abbots of Joucou. The single nave is separated from the sanctuary by an arch. The whole is entirely vaulted with a broken barrel vault. There is only one lateral chapel, vaulted with a transverse barrel vault, to the north of the chevet. A modern sacristy has been built to the south. The end wall is surmounted by a very high bell tower wall, with two juxtaposed bell openings. From the back of the nave, the southern wall comprises a decorative scheme of arcatures forming two panels set back from the plane of the wall. The first of these panels comprises six small arches and the second five. Continuing towards the east, the wall turns back, which seems to correspond to the old choir. There was probably either a choir, or a flat chevet less elevated than the nave. On the north side, the wall seems to have been entirely rebuilt and consolidated by buttresses, the nave having been redone on that occasion, this campaign being able to be situated at the same time as the repair of the door, in 1744.
