Ce petit passage a vraisemblablement servi d'accès à des maisons ou boutiques d'artisans dont les emblèmes de métier sont sculptés à la clé de l'arc en marbre. Ce dernier est en plein cintre. Légèrement désaxé par rapport au passage, il est suivi d'une arrière-voussure reposant, à gauche, sur un pilier de briques et, à droite, directement sur le mur. L'encadrement intérieur est chanfreiné. La clé porte, en creux, la date de 1569. Le cartouche décoré d'enroulements et de volutes porte en relief une paire de ciseaux, une lame large et l'autre évidée, les branches ouvertes servant de support à deux oiseaux affrontés.

History
This small passage most likely served as access to houses or shops of craftsmen whose trade emblems are carved at the key of the marble arch. The latter is in round arch. Slightly off-axis relative to the passage, it is followed by a back-arch resting, on the left, on a brick pillar and, on the right, directly on the wall. The interior surround is chamfered. The key bears, in relief, the date of 1569. The cartouche decorated with scrolls and volutes bears in relief a pair of scissors, one blade wide and the other hollowed out, the open branches serving as support for two confronted birds.
