L'église dépendait du prieuré du Rozier et date en grande partie du 12e siècle (nef, sauf dernière travée ouest ; choeur avec absidioles latérales formant transept). La travée ouest de la nef fut ajoutée vers le 13e-14e siècle. La façade fut sans doute reprise à la fin du 15e siècle ou au début du 16e. Au 17e siècle, des collatéraux furent ajoutés, d'abord au nord puis au sud. Le clocher fut reconstruit à une époque récente, sans doute après destruction du précédent clocher en 1793. L'église est accolée au logis du prieur.

History
The church depended on the priory of Rozier and dates in large part from the 12th century (nave, except last west bay; choir with side absidioles forming transept). The west bay of the nave was added towards the 13th-14th century. The façade was doubtless taken up again at the end of the 15th century or beginning of the 16th. In the 17th century, side aisles were added, first to the north then to the south. The bell tower was rebuilt at a recent period, doubtless after destruction of the previous bell tower in 1793. The church is attached to the logis of the prior.
