Historique

History
Romanesque church in the form of a Latin cross whose plan consists of a nave, an apse in hemicycle, a projecting transept with two apses, two chapels with groined vaults constituting a north aisle. The semi-circular apse is vaulted with a cul-de-four vault. The crossing of the transept is vaulted with a dome on squinch; Romanesque engaged columns support the four round arches of the square of the transept. The portal is ornamented with round arch mouldings. An octagonal bell tower rises above the transept crossing and terminates in a spire. In 1074, the church was given to the abbey of Saint-Victor and subsequently, the Dômerie of Aubrac included it in its domains.
