Historique

History
Seigneurial dwelling built during the 16th and 17th centuries around a medieval logis of which only the substructures remain (tower and cellars). It consists of a principal logis with a tower projecting to the southwest and a pavilion not centred on the west façade, as well as a smaller building in an angled return to the north. To the south, isolated facing the main building, is the chapel whose central voussoir of the door bears the date 1622. The entrance is on the south by a large portal bearing the date 1672 and decorated with the coat of arms of the family of Retz who inhabited the dwelling from 1587 to 1849 (except during the Revolutionary period). It is flanked by two corner pavilions. Traces present on the logis suggest that it underwent alterations which modified it. Below the courtyard are laid out two terraces and the estate is bounded by an enclosure wall.
