Historique
Petite église romane de la fin du 11e siècle, probablement utilisée à l'époque comme chapelle de secours desservie par les moines de la Canourgue. Elle se composait à l'origine d'une nef de trois travées voûtées en berceau, recoupée par deux doubleaux portés par des colonnes engagées à chapiteaux sculptés ; d'une travée de choeur séparée de la nef par un arc triomphal ; d'une abside à cinq pans voûtée en cul de four. Au sud, la porte paraît remonter au 13e siècle et son archivolte moulurée est portée par deux figurines sculptées. Au 13e siècle, deux contreforts ont été ajoutés pour épauler l'abside et une chapelle a été ouverte au sud.

History
Small Romanesque church of the late 11th century, probably used at the time as a chapel of relief served by the monks of La Canourgue. It originally consisted of a nave of three bays vaulted with a barrel vault, crossed by two transverse arches borne by engaged columns with sculpted capitals; a bay of choir separated from the nave by a triumphal arch; an apse with five sides vaulted with an apse vault. To the south, the door appears to date from the 13th century and its moulded archivolt is borne by two sculpted figurines. In the 13th century, two buttresses were added to support the apse and a chapel was opened to the south.
