History
The cross rests on a square base placed on three steps. The pyramidal base with square plan is ornamented, on one side by a sun, on the opposite face by a crescent moon, on the third face by heraldry and on the fourth by an inscription. The angles of this face present two adoring angels kneeling. Above, the long fluted shaft in granite supports the cross-arm in limestone. On one face is represented the Crucified Christ, feet apart, loins girt with a veil. On the other face, a Vierge de miséricorde is supported by a small rounded corbel.
