Cette croix est dite de Saint-Benoit car elle aurait appartenu au cimetière du monastère de Saint-Benoit, disparu. Le fût porte l'inscription "VM 1877". Valette Martin, habitant de Briges, aurait fait édifier la croix dans son état actuel. Elle repose sur un socle de pierre et fait suite à un long fût hexagonal. Les extrémités des bras de la croix sont sculptées. Sur la face principale est représenté le Christ crucifié, entouré, sur le profil du fût, de la Vierge et de saint Jean debout. Au revers est représentée une Pietà.

History
This cross is said to be of Saint-Benoit because it would have belonged to the cemetery of the monastery of Saint-Benoit, which has disappeared. The shaft bears the inscription "VM 1877".
