La porte dite de la Juiverie doit son nom à la proximité du ghetto de Pézenas qui datait de 1313. La porte présente un entrecolonnement d'inspiration classique avec colonnes, frise et corniche. La frise est constituée de métopes sculptées et de triglyphes. Les colonnes sont ovoïdales et la frise implantée suivant un parallélogramme, probablement pour donner un aspect perspectif plus important dans un espace restreint car l'ancienne entrée, dont l'arc est enore visible, ne semble pas avoir été biaise.

History
The gate known as the Juiverie owes its name to the proximity of the Pézenas ghetto which dated from 1313. The gate presents an intercolumniation of classical inspiration with columns, frieze and cornice. The frieze is composed of carved metopes and triglyphs. The columns are egg-shaped and the frieze installed according to a parallelogram, probably to give a more important perspective aspect in a restricted space since the old entrance, of which the arch is still visible, does not appear to have been skewed.
