Historique
Edifice probablement construit par monsieur d'Alfonce, baron de Clairac et d'Entraigues, grand prévôt de Guyenne. Habitation du prince de Conti pendant la session des Etats du Languedoc de 1655-1656. L'hôtel est également dénommé " ancien théâtre de Molière " qui eut l'occasion d'y donner quelques représentations, notamment la première du Médecin Volant le 9 novembre 1655. La façade latérale de la cour d'entrée comporte une galerie couverte en loggia, dont l'ordonnance architecturale est constituée de cinq colonnes torses monolithes couronnées de chapiteaux. La façade sur jardin était autrefois composée d'un portique au rez-de-chaussée et de deux étages de loggia. Les deux étages de loggia dressent encore leur élégante façade. Un escalier à vis, dont la vis est évidée et profilée en main courante, dessert les différents étages de la loggia.

History
Building probably built by Monsieur d'Alfonce, baron de Clairac and d'Entraigues, grand prévôt of Guyenne. Residence of the Prince of Conti during the session of the States of Languedoc of 1655-1656. The hôtel is also known as the "former theatre of Molière" which had the opportunity to give some performances there, notably the first of Le Médecin Volant on 9 November 1655. The lateral façade of the entrance courtyard features a covered gallery in loggia, whose architectural arrangement consists of five monolithic twisted columns crowned with capitals. The garden façade was formerly composed of a portico on the ground floor and two storeys of loggia. The two storeys of loggia still display their elegant façade. A spiral staircase, whose spiral is hollowed out and profiled as a handrail, serves the different storeys of the loggia.
