Dans ce quartier extérieur à l'ancienne ville, les portails ouvraient sur un grand jardin. Il existait peut-être aussi une maison de campagne, disparue depuis, ou englobée dans les constructions voisines, mais le jardin existe encore. L'enclos est accessible par deux portails. History
In this district exterior to the old town, gateways opened onto a large garden. There may have also been a country house, now disappeared, or incorporated into neighbouring constructions, but the garden still exists. The enclosure is accessible by two gateways. The one on the rue du Général Maureilhan is the most ornate. It presents a moulded, projecting frame, without imposts. The keystone is sculpted with a female head. Two consoles, decorated with fleurons, support the lateral returns of the large circular pediment. The moulding of this pediment is composed of fillets and cyma. The most remarkable part is the tympanum. Two cupids symbolize Autumn and Winter. One expresses in a vase the juice of a bunch of grapes; the other warms his hands before a brazier. These two figures flank a large central cartouche on which is engraved, in relief, a half-effaced monogram.
