L'édifice concerné est la partie ouest d'un immeuble autrefois plus vaste. Il est desservi par deux cours : l'une sur laquelle s'ouvre le vestibule d'accès ; l'autre, à l'arrière. History
The building in question is the western part of a building formerly more extensive. It is served by two courtyards: one on which opens the access vestibule; the other, at the rear. The same spiral staircase which occupies approximately the centre of the ensemble serves both parcels. The house presents a quadrangular body with the staircase turret (topped with a dovecote housed between two domes). It comprised without doubt originally a vast rectangular hall for each of the three levels and two storeys. The façade facing the street presents a regular arrangement of two bays per storey, which the lowering of the roof in the 18th century would have cut off. The façade facing the rear courtyard presents large twin depressed arches, opening onto galleries. On the first storey is found a painted ceiling. The decoration of coats of arms, vegetative motifs, figures and fantastic animals, adorns the infill boards as well as the rib beams, forming a series of metopes. Decorative garlands also cover joinery and mouldings. On the walls, ancient graffiti have been discovered, as well as elements of architecture.
