Mentionné dès le 15e siècle. Domaine agricole dont l'accès se fait par une grande allée bordée d'arbres fruitiers. Du côté des champs, le domaine est fermé par un grand bâtiment qui présente, au pied du mur, un système de muret incliné permettant de récupérer les eaux de pluie et de les canaliser vers la citerne située dans la cour. L'entrée dans cette cour s'effectue par un portail dont l'arc en plein cintre a été refait en 1828. Deux autres portes ouvrent sur cette cour et conduisent aux écuries et aux caves qui ont conservé pour la plupart leurs voûtes. Le deuxième niveau de la maison de maître servait, au 19e siècle, de magnarerie pour l'élevage des vers à soie. L'architecture est ici dictée par l'adapation à la fonction et au contexte. En ce sens, le Grand Galès est très représentatif des fermes en pays calcaire.

History
Mentioned from the 15th century onwards. Agricultural domain whose access is by a great avenue bordered with fruit trees. On the side of the fields, the domain is closed by a large building which presents, at the foot of the wall, a system of inclined walling allowing the recovery of rainwater and its channelling towards the cistern situated in the courtyard. Entry into this courtyard is effected by a gateway whose round arch was remade in 1828. Two other doors open onto this courtyard and lead to the stables and to the cellars which have for the most part retained their vaults. The second level of the main house served, in the 19th century, as a silk filature for the rearing of silkworms. The architecture is here dictated by adaptation to the function and to the context. In this sense, the Grand Galès is very representative of farms in limestone country.
