Il a été fortement morcelé dès le 15e siècle et profondément remanié au 17e siècle : il devient l'hôtel du marquis de Montanègues et est attribué à l'architecte Royer de la Valfenière. Malgré les réaménagements des 18e et 19e siècles, il conserve une façade ordonnancée et un grand escalier à vide central et balustres de pierre, de même que la tour-porte et les vestiges de la grande salle d'époque médiévale.

History
Vast complex of the 14th century (palace and domain), probably built for Clement VI. It was heavily subdivided from the 15th century onwards and profoundly remodelled in the 17th century: it becomes the hotel of the marquis de Montanègues and is attributed to the architect Royer de la Valfenière. Despite the rearrangements of the 18th and 19th centuries, it retains an ordonnanced façade and a grand staircase with central void and stone balusters, as well as the gate-tower and the vestiges of the great hall of the medieval period.
