Historique
L'édifice est voisin d'un ancien moulin à eau, dit "moulin du Duc", et de la ferme adjacente. La tour est indépendante de ces constructions. Avec ses deux étages voûtés, elle présente l'aspect d'une grange fortifiée. Au rez-de-chaussée, la voûte est en berceau brisé. Le premier étage est voûté sur diagonaux qui se recoupent sur des clés en X ornées de petites rosaces. Les percements de cet étage ont été modifiés mais conservent les vestiges d'une bretèche ou d'un petit encorbellement à usage d'évacuation. L'appareil des parements est travaillé de bossages dont quelques-uns, près d'un angle, sont sculptés. Les parements intérieurs des voûtes conservent une grande variété de marques de tâcherons.

History
The building is neighbouring an old water mill, called the "mill of the Duke", and the adjacent farm. The tower is independent of these structures. With its two vaulted storeys, it presents the appearance of a fortified barn. On the ground floor, the vault is in broken barrel form. The first floor is vaulted on diagonals which intersect on keys in X shape decorated with small roses. The openings of this floor have been modified but retain vestiges of a bretèche or small corbelling for drainage use. The ashlar of the facing is worked with bosses, some of which, near a corner, are sculpted. The interior surfaces of the vaults retain a great variety of stonemason marks.
