Cet édifice n'est qu'une partie démembrée d'un immeuble plus vaste, mentionné en 1497. La date de construction du balcon doit se situer un peu après 1768, date de la rectification de la rue de la Madeleine. La maison se compose d'un rez-de-chaussée avec porte d'entrée et boutique, d'un premier étage éclairé par une grande porte-fenêtre et d'un deuxième étage dont l'unique fenêtre est décalée par rapport à l'axe de la façade. Le balcon du premier étage appartient au type "ondé", avec légères inflexions et retours arrondis. La dalle, à larmier, est décorée de moulures. La ferronnerie se compose de trois panneaux, sans pilastres de séparation. Le grand panneau central se compose de volutes souvent ramifiées, croisées et bouclées, réparties symétriquement autour d'un motif médian en forme d'urne. Les panneaux latéraux sont identiques, symétriques l'un par rapport à l'autre. Des assemblages de trois volutes, liées par leur oeil commun, s'enroulent en spirale vers le bas. This building is only a dismembered part of a larger property, mentioned in 1497. The balcony of the first floor belongs to the "wavy" type, with slight inflections and rounded returns. The slab, with drip moulding, is decorated with mouldings. The ironwork is composed of three panels, without pilasters for separation. The large central panel is composed of often ramified, crossed and curled scrolls, distributed symmetrically around a central motif in the form of an urn. The lateral panels are identical, symmetrical to one another. Assemblies of three scrolls, linked by their common eye, spiral downwards. The cross-brace connections are varied.
