The first pavilion was probably built in the 16th century. It was destroyed in 1792 and reconstructed around 1825 in the neo-Gothic style. Building of rectangular plan. The main façade, to the east, presents a central avant-corps in slight projection and raised elevation. The entrance door has received particular decorative treatment: depressed ogive tending towards the accolade, decorated with crockets, framed by two crocketed pinacles and finial, and surmounted by a projecting keystone in "reversed drop" form. This same key adorns the openings of the first floor. The upper part of this avant-corps, in raised elevation, is decorated with a kind of curvilinear pediment supported by false machicolations and representing a comital crown with eleven pearls. Inside, the distribution of five rooms in enfilade is arranged around an entrance hall from which a monumental staircase with two straight flights and intermediate landing departs. A corner fountain adorns the hall. The outbuildings were also rebuilt in the neo-Gothic style. This castle is a rare example, in this region, of "English neo-Gothic" architectural type.
