Historique

History
Small Romanesque building comprising a nave of two bays with a semi-circular apse. The entrance to the latter is characterized by two large engaged columns, crowned with very crude capitals. The first bay of the nave, near the apse, is vaulted with a barrel vault. The other bay has lost its vault. A strong rib vault cut across the vault, supported on piers which receive at the same time lateral arches. The east facade rises in a gable above the apse and is decorated with three round-arched arcatures. A moulded cornice crowned the ramps and a small bell tower on a square plan surmounted the whole. The original roof was in limestone slabs. This small monument is one of the rare surviving vestiges of the 12th century of this type in the Gard.
