Il s'agit vraisemblablement là de l'ancien cloître des Bénédictins. Cet immeuble se compose d'un haut bâtiment construit sur un "arceau" au-dessus de la rue, surmonté d'une petite fenêtre. Entouré sur trois côtés par des bâtiments du 17e siècle, les façades sur cette cour sont ornées des restes d'une ordonnance ionique dont les chapiteaux subsistants sont très riches. Les baies du premier étage ont été remaniées. Au second, les petites fenêtres à meneaux sont restées intactes. Dans un angle de la cour, une tour polygonale renferme l'escalier. Cette tour, régulièrement percée de petites fenêtres, est ornée de deux gargouilles et flanquée à son sommet d'une tourelle. History
This was very likely the old cloister of the Benedictines. This building consists of a tall building constructed on an "arch" above the street, surmounted by a small window. A passage ceiled in the French manner gives access to two bays of an old cloister vaulted with ribs. Two large depressed arches open onto the courtyard. Surrounded on three sides by buildings of the 17th century, the façades on this courtyard are decorated with the remains of an Ionic order whose surviving capitals are very rich. The openings on the first storey have been altered. On the second, the small mullioned windows have remained intact. In a corner of the courtyard, a polygonal tower contains the staircase. This tower, regularly pierced with small windows, is decorated with two gargoyles and flanked at its top by a small turret. Inside, it is decorated with several shells and pierced with small round-arch doors.
