Town Hall built in the second half of the 17th century on the plans of Hardouin-Mansart, is said to have been begun in 1679 and completed in 1683. It rises from a ground floor, a main storey and an attic storey, with facade on three streets, with a central building and two wings surrounding a courtyard of honour closed by a wall topped with an open gallery. The vestibule, at the centre of the building at the back of the courtyard, contains a large stone staircase with square balusters, opening on the first storey into a loggia open with Ionic columns. In the attic above the loggia, an escutcheon with the arms of the town is accompanied, to the right and left, by the sun, emblem of Louis XIV. On the first storey, all the openings of the facades are framed by a moulding of foliage, and surmounted by a drip with a frieze of varied ornaments. Above, the attic storey is pierced with oculi decorated with garlands of laurel ribbon-tied. The joinery of the large openings originally comprised a mullion with two transoms with large torus accompanied by two fillets, but most have been removed and replaced by more modern joinery. Inside, the council chamber is ornamented with 17th-century wainscoting. The vestibule contains vestiges of the Roman period found in the town or its surroundings.
