Historique
L'église date en totalité du 14e siècle. Le côté sud a conservé ses mâchicoulis et une partie des créneaux de l'époque. Le sommet de la tourelle d'escalier est percé de deux archères. La tourelle présente huit pans portés par des encorbellements savamment agencés pour passer du carré à l'octogone. Trois arcs-boutants franchissent la rue pour s'appuyer contre les maisons. Seules deux travées de choeur sont sans mâchicoulis et semblent ne jamais en avoir eu, sans doute parce que l'église se reliait au château en ce point. A l'intérieur, deux chapelles étroites marquent une sorte de croisillon. Les voûtes sont appareillées, portées par des nervures à chanfrein. Les fenêtres du choeur sont à deux lancettes ; celles de la nef n'en ont qu'une. Cet édifice appartient à un type tardif de petite église fortifiée.

History
The church dates entirely from the 14th century. The south side has retained its machicolations and part of the crenellation of the period. The top of the staircase turret is pierced with two arrow slits. The turret presents eight sides supported by corbelling cleverly arranged to pass from the square to the octagon. Three flying buttresses span the street to rest against the houses. Only two bays of choir are without machicolations and appear never to have had any, no doubt because the church was connected to the castle at this point. Inside, two narrow chapels mark a sort of transept. The vaults are appareilled, carried by chamfered ribs. The windows of the choir have two lancets; those of the nave have only one. This building belongs to a late type of small fortified church.
