History
A first building for habitation and agricultural exploitation is built in 1829 by D. J. Aubry and M.A. Larrière, followed in 1831 by a distillery workshop and a grain room. At the end of the 19th century two new distillery buildings are erected. The establishment will be operated from 1901 to 1978 (end of operation date) by Ets Simon. It today houses the ecomuseum of distillation and of the Fougerolles region.
