Les Récollets s'installent à Conflans-sur-Lanterne au début du 18e siècle. Le couvent est mentionné en 1721. En 1792, l'édifice est vendu comme bien national, et acheté par Charles Henry, juge de paix, qui entame les transformations en château. Le château présente une façade sur cour percée, au rez-de-chaussée, de neuf arcades, encadrée de deux ailes. La façade sur jardin s'orne, en sa partie centrale, d'un portique de quatre colonnes doriques. L'église a disparu.

History
The Recollects established themselves at Conflans-sur-Lanterne at the beginning of the 18th century. The convent is mentioned in 1721. In 1792, the building is sold as national property and purchased by Charles Henry, justice of the peace, who undertook the transformations into a château. The château presents a court-facing facade pierced, on the ground floor, with nine arcades, flanked by two wings. The garden-facing facade is adorned, in its central part, by a portico of four Doric columns. The church has disappeared.
