La paroisse de Cirey-lès-Bellevaux regroupait plusieurs villages. Dès 1772, les habitants de Cirey décident de reconstruire leur église devenue trop petite et en mauvais état. L'église est bâtie entre 1778 et 1780 par l'entrepreneur Claude Jambard, sur les plans de l'architecte François-Lazare Renaud, exécutés par l'architecte bisontin Louis Beuque. C'est une église à plan centré construite en moellons enduits et précédée d'un clocher-porche. Elle abrite un important mobilier du 18e siècle, dont les stalles qui proviennent de l'abbaye cistercienne de Bellevaux.

History
The parish of Cirey-lès-Bellevaux grouped together several villages. From 1772, the inhabitants of Cirey decided to rebuild their church which had become too small and in poor condition. The church is built between 1778 and 1780 by contractor Claude Jambard, on the plans of architect François-Lazare Renaud, executed by Besançon architect Louis Beuque. It is a centrally-planned church built in rendered rubble stone and preceded by a porch tower. It houses significant 18th-century furnishings, including the stalls which come from the Cistercian abbey of Bellevaux.
