Historique
Fondé vers 1250, le couvent des Cordeliers fut doté par la famille de Vienne. L'église a été bâtie dans le dernier quart du 13e siècle. Un incendie en 1536 imposa la reconstruction de la nef entre 1540 et 1593, en conservant le choeur du 13e siècle. Les chapelles nord sont du 16e siècle. La nef fut voûtée après l'incendie de 1637. La façade porte la date 1731. L'église est devenue paroissiale en 1806. Elle se trouve au nord des bâtiments conventuels qui ont été réédifiés en 1737-1741 et surélevés au 19e siècle. Précédée d'un portail et d'une cour, la façade occidentale de l'église présente une élévation classique avec large avant-corps central superposant les ordres dorique et ionique. History
Founded around 1250, the convent of the Cordeliers was endowed by the family of Vienne. The church was built in the last quarter of the 13th century. A fire in 1536 necessitated the reconstruction of the nave between 1540 and 1593, preserving the choir of the 13th century. The north chapels are from the 16th century. The nave was vaulted after the fire of 1637. The façade bears the date 1731. The church became parochial in 1806. It is situated north of the convent buildings which were rebuilt in 1737-1741 and raised in the 19th century. Preceded by a portal and a courtyard, the western façade of the church presents a classical elevation with a broad central avant-corps superimposing the Doric and Ionic orders.
