Historique
Cest en 1939 que lhorloger Raymond Dodane confie à Auguste Perret la construction dune usine de montres. Achevée en 1943, elle réunit dans un seul bâtiment à plan en L, fonctions de production, fonctions administratives et logement patronal. Larchitecte met en oeuvre dans ce bâtiment à quatre niveaux le système de construction poteaux-poutres en béton armé et apporte un soin particulier aux nuisances générées par le travail (bruit, vibration, poussières). Outre le jardin privé comprenant piscine et court de tennis, Perret a également dessiné les éléments de décor intérieur. Désaffectée depuis sa fermeture en 1994, lusine Dodane demeure, par sa grande homogénéité architecturale, un témoignage essentiel de lactivité horlogère bisontine.

History
It was in 1939 that watchmaker Raymond Dodane entrusted Auguste Perret with the construction of a watch factory. Completed in 1943, it brought together in a single L-shaped building production functions, administrative functions and owner's residence. The architect implemented in this four-level building the reinforced concrete post-and-beam construction system and paid particular attention to the nuisances generated by work (noise, vibration, dust). Besides the private garden comprising swimming pool and tennis court, Perret also designed the interior decoration elements. Abandoned since its closure in 1994, the Dodane factory remains, by its great architectural homogeneity, an essential testimony to the horological activity of Besançon.
