Historique
L'église dépendait, à la fin du 13e siècle, du chapitre de Notre-Dame-la-Grande de Poitiers. Les archives du 18e siècle font état de lourds travaux de restauration. En 1836, la voûte s'écroule et est refaite peu après. De 1860 à 1865, des travaux sont réalisés par l'architecte Segretain. L'édifice présente un plan allongé, à nef unique de deux travées, une travée sous clocher et une travée de choeur terminée par une abside. Dans la nef, les arcs doubleaux retombent sur des colonnes à bases moulurées et à chapiteaux sculptés. La travée sous clocher est voûtée d'une coupole à plan carré à la base et sur trompes aux angles. Le portail en arc brisé est à trois rangées de voussures. Le chevet est recouvert de lauzes. La plupart des modillons ont été refaits au 19e siècle. Un clocher carré somme l'ensemble de l'édifice.

History
The church depended, at the end of the 13th century, on the chapter of Notre-Dame-la-Grande of Poitiers. Archives from the 18th century record heavy restoration works. In 1836, the vault collapsed and was remade shortly afterwards. From 1860 to 1865, works were carried out by the architect Segretain. The building presents an elongated plan, with a single nave of two bays, a bay under the bell tower and a choir bay terminated by an apse. In the nave, the transverse arches spring from columns with moulded bases and sculpted capitals. The bay under the bell tower is vaulted with a dome with a square base and with squinches at the angles. The portal with a pointed arch has three rows of voussoirs. The chevet is covered with lauzes. Most of the modillions were remade in the 19th century. A square bell tower crowns the whole building.
