History

The castle is cited from the 14th century onwards. It was sacked around 1567 and rebuilt around 1570. It was again destroyed and reconstructed at a later period. It is a bourgeois house probably dating from the end of the 17th century, built partly over vaulted cellars of the 13th century. The south façade opens onto a terrace and a formal garden. This ensemble, called "le Gardou", could date back to the 15th or 16th century.
