Historique

History
The oldest tomb cover is trapezoidal. The two sloping faces are furnished with four lines of crossed sawtooth; the faces with a checkerboard on one side, with arcatures on the other. At the head is found a cross patty inscribed within a disc, circles and arcatures. At the feet, imbrications. This cover could date back to the Early Middle Ages. The four other covers do not appear to date back higher than the 11th or 12th century. All are in prismatic roof form. The first presents, on each of the sloping faces, five broad palmettes and, at its two ends, two other palmettes surmounted by a cross patty. The second has its slopes decorated with a series of seven hollow volutes and its principal end with two rows of imbrication and a cross patty. The third, whose ridge is furnished with diamond-pointed projections in bold relief, bears on the side of the head a Latin cross and, at the feet, two wavy lines. The last presents sloping faces and ends covered with palmate foliage.
