Historique
Le prieuré dépendait de l'abbaye de Celles. C'est un édifice primitivement bâti au 12e siècle. De cette époque il subsiste la nef et le clocher. La face latérale de la nef s'ouvre par une porte sculptée à chapiteaux et corbelets. Au 15e siècle, le choeur fut complètement modifié ou démoli pour être remplacé par un bâtiment carré composé de quatre travées dont les arcs devaient retomber au centre sur un pilier cylindrique. La construction resta inachevée : les voûtes n'ont pas été terminées. Il n'en existe que les arcs dosserets et les amorces de retombées. Au 17e siècle fut projeté un achèvement sans rapport de style avec le reste, achèvement lui-même interrompu.

History
The priory depended on the abbey of Celles. It is a building originally built in the 12th century. From this period there remain the nave and the bell tower. The lateral face of the nave opens through a sculpted door with capitals and corbels. In the 15th century, the choir was completely modified or demolished to be replaced by a square building composed of four bays whose arches were to fall at the centre on a cylindrical pillar.
