History
The castellany is prior to the 16th century. However, the present construction dates from the period between the Hundred Years War and the Wars of Religion. There were originally moats, now dried up. The rectangular building faces, to the west, onto a vast courtyard surrounded by outbuildings and, to the east, onto a pond. The building has mullioned windows, a door of the late 16th-early 17th century, brick corner turrets and, inside, staircases. This main dwelling presents both a feudal defensive character and Renaissance aestheticism.
