Historique
Jouxtant l'abbatiale Notre-Dame, au sud de la sacristie, l'ancienne église paroissiale conserve des restes de l'époque romane et de la fin du 12e siècle, d'esprit gothique. En partie détruite, elle est bâtie sur un terrain en forte déclivité. Elle conserve une crypte (cave) voûtée en berceau au premier niveau, et une chapelle à chevet plat. La nef de l'église se développait au-dessus de ces deux niveaux. Il n'en reste aujourd'hui qu'un faisceau de piles engagées et le départ des nervures de voûte, mais elle a dû rester intacte jusqu'à la Révolution, époque à laquelle elle est dépecée. Le chevet de la chapelle, cantonné de deux larges contreforts plats, est percé de deux baies en plein cintre, inscrites dans deux arcatures également en plein cintre, réunies par une colonnette centrale. History
Adjoining the abbatiale Notre-Dame, to the south of the sacristy, the old parish church preserves remains from the Romanesque period and the late 12th century, in Gothic spirit. Partly destroyed, it is built on steeply sloping terrain. It preserves a crypt (cellar) vaulted with a barrel vault at the first level, and a chapel with a flat chevet. The nave of the church developed above these two levels. There remains today only a bundle of engaged piers and the springing of vault ribs, but it must have remained intact until the Revolution, at which time it was dismantled. The chevet of the chapel, flanked by two large flat buttresses, is pierced by two round-arch openings, inscribed in two arcuations also in round arch, joined by a central columnette. The capitals are decorated with foliage and crockets.
