Ancien moulin banal de la seigneurie de Florimont, il est acheté en 1805 par la famille Marion, dans laquelle il restera jusquà la fin de son exploitation en 1905 (une activité de laiterie-beurrerie perdurera jusquen 1935). Agrandi en 1840 puis reconstruit en 1856, il est parvenu jusquà nos jours avec lensemble de ses installations du 19e siècle : roue hydraulique, système de transmission mécanique, appareils de mouture et de blutage. Bien documenté, exhaustif dans ses équipements et cohérent par son architecture, le moulin de Courtelevant, grâce à une association, a été restauré en 1989 (atelier à pan de bois) et est aujourdhui ouvert au public.

History
Former common mill of the seigneurie of Florimont, it was purchased in 1805 by the Marion family, in which it remained until the end of its operation in 1905 (a dairy-butter-making activity would continue until 1935). Enlarged in 1840 then rebuilt in 1856, it has survived to the present day with the entirety of its 19th-century installations: hydraulic wheel, mechanical transmission system, milling and bolting apparatus. Well documented, exhaustive in its equipment and coherent in its architecture, the mill of Courtelevant, thanks to an association, was restored in 1989 (timber-framed workshop) and is today open to the public.
