History
The first railway station of Rouen dates from 1850. The present station is built from 1914 and completed in 1928. Its design, in a late Art Nouveau style, is due to the architect A. Dervaux, the structure in reinforced concrete being designed by the bureau Considère, Pelnard and Caquot. The footbridges and circulation galleries were modified during a restructuring of the building in 1985, intended to create a car park above the tracks.
