History
The castle of Filières comprises two parts of different periods: two bays and a supporting wing date from the reign of Henri IV, while the rest is from the Louis XVI period. Of the 18th-century drawing rooms, one is called the Chinese salon and features decoration of Chinese paintings presented in panelled wall sections, while the second is adorned with woodwork, pilasters, Ionic columns and stucco decoration.
