Ce château de la seconde moitié du 18e siècle a été reconstruit au 19e siècle. A partir de 1855, il a appartenu à la famille Bérard qui y a reçu le peintre Renoir. Celui-ci y a peint régulièrement de 1879 à 1885 (les Deux Chasses : 1884-1885).

History
This castle from the second half of the 18th century was rebuilt in the 19th century. From 1855, it belonged to the Bérard family who received the painter Renoir there. He painted there regularly from 1879 to 1885 (the Two Hunts: 1884-1885).
