Ce pont, antérieur au 17e siècle, était situé près d'un moulin aujourd'hui disparu. Il portait l'ancienne voie qui conduisait de Rochechouart à Saint-Mathieu. Il se compose de deux arches plein cintre légèrement surbaissées, appareillées en pierres plates, s'appuyant sur une pile centrale précédée d'un avant-bec triangulaire maçonné en grand appareil. Ce pont possédait des parapets dont il subsiste quelques traces.

History
This bridge, prior to the 17th century, was located near a mill now disappeared. It carried the old road that led from Rochechouart to Saint-Mathieu. It consists of two slightly depressed round arches, built with flat stones, resting on a central pile preceded by a triangular cutwater built in ashlar. This bridge possessed parapets of which a few traces remain.
