Historique
D'après la tradition, l'hôpital fut fondé en 1191. Son existence est attestée par un document de 1250. Au 13e siècle, il était désigné sous le nom d'hôtel-Dieu. L'édifice subit une réfection presque complète en 1896. Deux portes s'ouvrent dans un mur nu. Pour la première, l'arc est en plein cintre, à double voussure de style limousin. Les ressauts des arcs portent une gorge en quart de rond, caractérisant la période gothique. Les deux voussures sont séparées par un boudin torique. Ces différents arcs retombent sur des chapiteaux à deux rangs de palmettes. Deux colonnettes supportent les extrémités des frises de chapiteaux. La deuxième porte, également en plein cintre, est à une seule voussure. La colonnette formant support se trouve désaxée par rapport au boudin de voussure. History
According to tradition, the hospital was founded in 1191. Its existence is attested by a document of 1250. In the 13th century, it was designated under the name of hôtel-Dieu.
