Historique

History
The building was erected in the 13th century but it underwent numerous alterations from the 15th to the 18th century, and in the 20th century. The church consists of a nave with two lateral chapels forming a transept. The nave comprises four bays vaulted with arches of stone, from the end of the 14th century, with diagonal ribs and wall ribs, resting on engaged half-columns. The four angles of the crossing are decorated with four large columns anterior to the previous ones, with capitals of the 13th century. An oculus is situated at the meeting point of the diagonals. The two chapels of the transept as well as the choir are vaulted with arcatures of the 14th century. The columns and their capitals are anterior to the vault arcatures and appear to be from the end of the 12th century. The primitive vaults appear to have collapsed after the deformation of the walls, due to the thrust of the primitive vaults. Those existing would have been rebuilt following this. On the exterior, a bell tower is constructed at the crossing of the transept.
