En 1360, J. Marcoul, seigneur de Montmagner, fit édifier cet ensemble rural composé d'un vieux corps de logis flanqué au sud d'une tour circulaire. La tour est soutenue au sud par un massif contrefort dans lequel a été pratiquée, au premier niveau, une petite ouverture rectangulaire éclairant l'escalier. A l'intérieur, un escalier à vis en bois distribue les étages. Une grange et un édifice moins important ont été accolés plus tardivement à l'ouest et à l'est du corps de logis.

History
In 1360, J. Marcoul, lord of Montmagner, had this rural complex built composed of an old main dwelling flanked to the south by a circular tower. The tower is supported to the south by a massive buttress in which has been made, at the first level, a small rectangular opening lighting the staircase. Inside, a wooden spiral staircase distributes the floors. A barn and a less important building were attached later to the west and east of the main dwelling.
