Historique
Le patronage de l'église, après avoir été exercé au 15e siècle par l'abbaye de Déols, puis au 17e siècle par la prévôté d'Evaux, appartint ensuite à l'évêché de Limoges. L'église est formée d'une nef à chevet droit, voûtée en berceau brisé. La partie formant choeur est séparée du reste par un arc doubleau brisé, retombant sur des piliers adossés à imposte chanfreinée. Un clocher-mur ajouré de deux baies surmonte la façade ouest. Des contreforts qui épaulent l'édifice, seuls ceux placés à la séparation des travées paraissent dater de l'époque de la construction, les autres ayant été ajoutés ou refaits.

History
The patronage of the church, after having been exercised in the 15th century by the abbey of Déols, then in the 17th century by the provostry of Evaux, subsequently belonged to the bishopric of Limoges. The church is formed of a nave with a straight chevet, vaulted with a broken barrel vault. The part forming the choir is separated from the rest by a pointed arch moulded rib, resting on pillars abutted at a chamfered impost. An openwork wall bell tower of two bays surmounts the west façade. Of the buttresses which support the edifice, only those placed at the separation of the bays appear to date from the period of construction, the others having been added or remade.
