History
The church was a curacy of the former archpresbytery of Anzème. The patronage belonged to the bishop of Limoges. The building was constructed at the beginning of the 13th century. Of rectangular plan with single nave and flat chevet, with two north and south chapels vaulted in barrel vault. The three bays of the nave, primitively vaulted with ribs, are covered with panelling. The west façade, surmounted by a square bell tower, was redone in the 19th century, but retained its 13th-century portal, of Limoges type. The spiral staircase turret to the south confirms the primitive fortification of the building.
