Le patronage de cette église appartenait à l'évêque de Limoges. L'église est formée d'une nef unique de trois travées à chevet droit, de la fin du 13e siècle, complétée à l'époque moderne par une chapelle au sud. L'église a été surélevée et fortifiée au 14e ou 15e siècle (appareil petit et irrégulier). Au-dessus des deux baies brisées contenant les cloches, est sculpté un bas-relief dans un cadre en forme de niche, représentant un évêque bénissant. A l'ouest s'ouvre, sur un perron de trois marches qu'abrite un auvent soutenu par deux colonnes aux bases octogonales, le portail à tracé brisé, à trois voussures. Les boudins sont reçus, par l'intermédiaire de frises-chapiteaux à décor de palmettes et crochets, sur trois colonnettes. Au pied du gouttereau nord a été encastré un fragment de monument gallo-romain avec inscription. L'ancien prieuré est accolé au nord de l'église, et formé de deux corps de logis en retour perpendiculaire sur une cour d'entrée dont l'accès se fait par un portail aux pilastres surmontés de pyramides renflées que couronnent des boules.

History
The patronage of this church belonged to the bishop of Limoges. The church consists of a single nave of three bays with a straight chevet, from the end of the 13th century, completed in the modern period by a chapel to the south. The church was raised and fortified in the 14th or 15th century (small and irregular masonry). Above the two pointed openings containing the bells, a bas-relief is carved within a frame in the form of a niche, representing a bishop blessing. To the west opens, onto a flight of three steps sheltered by a canopy supported by two columns with octagonal bases, a portal with pointed arch profile, with three voussoirs. The mouldings are received, by means of friezes-capitals decorated with palmettes and crockets, on three colonnettes. At the foot of the north gutter has been set a fragment of a Gallo-Roman monument with inscription. The former priory is attached to the north of the church, and formed of two blocks of buildings in return perpendicular to an entrance courtyard, access to which is by a portal with pilasters topped by swollen pyramids crowned with spheres.
