Cette église était une succursale de celle de Thauron et devait être au patronage de la prévôté d'Eymoutiers. Elle comporte un vaisseau de quatre travées dont la dernière, qui forme le choeur, a seule conservé sa voûte d'ogives. La clef est sculptée de l'Agneau pascal. Sur la travée précédant le choeur s'ouvrent deux chapelles modernes. Un clocher en charpente est monté sur la partie ouest. Du système de défense ne subsiste qu'une canonnière à visée verticale. La façade occidentale est percée d'un portail en tracé brisé avec frise-chapiteau sculptée.

History
This church was a subsidiary of that of Thauron and was to be under the patronage of the provostry of Eymoutiers. It comprises a vessel of four bays, the last of which, which forms the choir, alone preserved its rib vault. The keystone is carved with the Paschal Lamb. On the bay preceding the choir open two modern chapels. A wooden bell tower is mounted on the western part. Of the system of defence only a cannonry with vertical aim remains. The western façade is pierced by a portal in broken tracery with sculptured frieze-capital.
